About AWK

I believe the wounded can have a bright shine, perhaps even more so than the spotless. 

Through my work, I have discovered with little care, that the damaged and the neglected can become something beautiful as these prints. I carefully search for debris and naturally deteriorated leaves to showcase their details.

Lumin print being the oldest form of photography is entirely analog. The process of it all slows me down and has led me to take a closer look at my surroundings in my journey. 

The appreciation for these prints may lie in the eye of the beholder; a perspective on nature, finding beauty in the unlikely, or even a break from the fast pace of life at our fingertips. 

I hope my prints bring us hopeful perspectives beyond our stories.
